Meet Cynthia Posadowski, a second-year St. Lawrence College marketing student who will be writing about the golf club industry in preparation for her placement at Cataraqui Golf and Country Club. Golf is an industry that generates an estimated $29.4 billion in Canadian total gross production through direct, indirect, and induced spending impact. This industry is among the highest number of participant rates in Canada. This is according to the National Allied Golf Association.
In the month of April I will be participating in a three week placement at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club located in Kingston, Ontario. Being a second-year marketing student part of our education includes a placement of our choice in the field we desire. I am very interested in the golf/sports industry.
