Mustaches come in all shapes and sizes. Some are majestic and others are spotty and incomplete. Nonetheless they are all representative of a major national concern. Prostate cancer is becoming more and more wide-spread, and recognition is of more importance than ever.
More and more men are taking part in ‘Movember‘, the month when males grow facial hair in recognition and support of prostate cancer research. Some men are fund raising by not shaving their faces for a certain period of time, generally the whole month, and donate the proceeds to fighting prostate cancer.
This is providing free and crucially needed advertising and promotion for the Cancer Society. It also generates funds vital to the research used to help treat male patients in North America.
